“Casas da Cerca – Country Cottages” are Houses that have existed for approximately sixty years, in the property of 30ha of Monte Novo dos Troviscais, by the River Mira, in the Alentejo (South of Portugal) on the part facing west, confined by the Atlantic Ocean. This part of the Alentejo corresponds nowadays to the “Southwest Alentejo and Vicentine Coast Natural Park”, and “Casas da Cerca – Country Cottages” is situated in one of its most protected areas, making part of a rural and natural environment of excellence.
In this place where silence speaks at the sounds of the birds, is still possible sometimes hear the fox and sense the wild boar. From the Houses to the River Mira it takes little more than a step (15 minutes walk), in a unique walk overflowed with beauty.
“Casas da Cerca – Country Cottages” is situated 1,5km from the small village of Troviscais. It also distance 22km from Vila Nova de Milfontes, the touristic village by the sea.
