In November, go to ObservaNatura in Setúbal, an event committed to Nature Tourism.
This event features a fascinating programme of activities that will spread the word about the heritage of the Arrábida Natural Park and the Sado Estuary Nature Reserve, including workshops, short courses, workshops, ringing sessions and environmental education activities, among others.
Observanatura will highlight the Natural.pt brand while focusing on the creation of a network of nature tourism destinations which values and distinguishes between the protected areas of mainland Portugal. It is organized by the Institute for Nature Conservation and Forests (ICNF), with the support of TroiaNatura and Setúbal Municipal Council.
A number of tourist leisure activity companies are involved, along with various associations and public bodies, amounting to more than 200 entities going back over previous years, which had a total of about 16,000 visitors.
