Abrantes will once again host the 18th National Traditional Confectionery Fair on the days 25, 26 and 27 October. With sweets, honey, liqueurs and jams from various parts of the country, culinary workshops and demonstrations around the theme, among many other activities, this is a fair that gathers the country's sweetest delights in one single space!
The event aims to promote the rich confectionery traditions of the Ribatejo Interior area, with the famous "Palhas de Abrantes", "Tigeladas", "Queijinhos do Céu" and "Broas Fervidas", together with other Portuguese icons, such as the "fidalgo" cake of Alentejo, the "malassadas" of the Azores, the "cornucópias" of Alcobaça, among many others.
