The 42nd Barcelos National Craft and Ceramics Show, the largest annual popular art event held in Barcelos, takes place between August 1st and 10th.

This is where most of the local artisans and craftspeople gather, and it is one of the oldest craft shows in Portugal, an excellent place to discover the authenticity and richness of Portuguese folk art. You can also count on an entertainment program based on the cultural and ethnographic richness of the municipality, which promotes folklore and ethnographic groups in the preservation of local customs, costumes, songs and traditions, not forgetting the region's gastronomy and wines.
