Poças do Gomes or Doca do Cavacas is the name of a small rocky bathing area with natural pools, located in Funchal, close to the seafront promenade. This beach, with support amenities, spreads over various terraces and is located between the Lido and Formosa Beach, providing an excellent panoramic view over the sea and Cape Girão, the highest headland in Europe.
