With a very long and not very crowded swathe of sand, Poço da Cruz Beach is still well-preserved, perfect for a leisurely day by the sea. Here and there, fishing boats add a picturesque note to the landscape.
Access to the beach is by a road that crosses the countryside, with farmlands and abundant vegetation, complete with a small creek.
