The village of Germil, located on the top of the "Serra Amarela", half way between "Serra do Soajo" and "Serra do Gerês", is nowadays no more than a rustic agro-rural village, lost in time. Between valleys and mountains of fertile lands of the Peneda Gerês National Park, Germil is at about 17km distance from the town of Ponte da Barca, surrounded by a rich natural landscape, characteristic of mountainous areas.
Casa da Eira, former agricultural House with grange and cattle shed for goats, seems to be an excellent option for who is looking for a distant and isolated place, full of history and memories, to have rest and to enjoy of all the surrounding natural beauty of the landscape, with all the necessary comfort.
