Maritime beach
The Areeiro Beach is a small stretch of black sand and pebble beach, surrounded by cliffs, located about 2 kilometres from Câmara de Lobos and 6 kilometres from the centre of Funchal (and the farthest west in this municipality).
Equipped with amenities, the Areeiro Beach may be reached on foot by means of the promenade from Formosa Beach, its neighbour, or by the stairs next to the Hotel Orca Praia.
