Presenting the relationship between Armenians and Jerusalem, whose roots go back at least to the fifth century, this exhibition highlights the importance of the city to Armenians and vice versa. It should be noted that a quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem belongs to the Armenians, whose roots in the Holy Land go back at least to the fifth century.

Here you can learn about archival documents that have recently been found relating to the construction of the Gulbenkian Library in the Armenian Patriarchate and Calouste Gulbenkian's connections to the city in the 1930s.
