It is between the 14th and 18th of August that Coruche celebrates to receive one of its great summer festivities: the Festivities in Honour of Nossa Senhora do Castelo.

This is a high point on the local agenda, also marking a reunion of local people, who join the celebrations in devotion to the patron saint of Coruche. Every year, thousands of visitors have the opportunity to taste the delicious Ribatejo cuisine, enjoy the procession, as well as the historical and ethnographic procession and see the traditional fireworks and concerts. The bullfighting entertainment in the streets of the historic center and the various initiatives add to this festival, a showcase of the territory and the local culture.
