Events

The Candlelight Cultures Market is an original event, which takes place in the Convent of São José and in the surrounding streets, during which thousands of candles are lit, bringing together flavors and arts, from music, dance, to gastronomy, handicrafts, sculpture and painting.

This year, the theme is "Iberian Traditions", and the main symbols of the Iberian Peninsula will be drawn with thousands of wax candles. You can also count on exhibitions, Celtic-inspired taverns, street entertainment with Gigantones & Zés Pereiras, folk music, flamenco, fado, traditional music from Alentejo and medieval music from the Iberian Peninsula.
