Between the 14th and 18th of August, in Ílhavo, one of the most popular products of Portuguese gastronomy, codfish, is celebrated. For five days, the Codfish Festival offers not only gastronomy, but also culture and lots of entertainment.

The Oudinot Garden becomes the stage for the event: if in the water there are kayaks and boards, on land there are workshops and lots of games and on the Santo André Museum Ship former crew members remember adventures on the high seas.

This is the right place to learn new cod recipes, but also to taste the delicious dishes that are scattered all over the place.
