The Guimarães Clássico festival is back between the 12th and 17th of August. In its sixth edition, the festival once again focuses on chamber music for stringed instruments and focuses on the new generation of young musicians, providing them with the opportunity to improve themselves and perform alongside renowned artists.

There will be five concerts, the vast majority of which will be prepared in Guimarães during the festival with artists from various countries. It will also make a foray into new music, giving opportunities to young composers to participate in a workshop led by Karl Fiorini and who, together with the Quirón Quartet, will explore new compositions written for string quartet.
