The 33rd Cultural Week of Santa Marta de Penaguião takes place between the 26th and 30th of July, with entertainment for all tastes and ages.

The program includes municipal traditions such as folklore, songs, orchestras, rural tunas, the ethnographic procession and the representation of the Legend of Santa Marta, patron saint of the Douro Demarcated Region. The musical lineup, on the other hand, includes concerts by José Cid and Rita Guerra, the latter performing with the local band "Banda Musical da Cumieira". The program also includes gastronomic dinners, a handicraft fair and performances by local artists.
