Events

The XXI Great Festivities of the Divine Spirit, promoted by the Municipality of Ponta Delgada, take place this year between the 11th and 14th of July. The program is diverse, for all tastes and ages, with religious, cultural and tourist initiatives, in order to respect the identity and ancestral traditions of the cult of the Divine Holy Spirit.

This festival, which every year draws thousands of people to Ponta Delgada, promotes conferences, parades, exhibitions, book launches, contests, masses and musical performances, with emphasis on the concerts of Ágata and the fado singer Vera Brasil.
