Events

The State Contemporary Art Collection promotes the exhibition "Collective Imagination" at the Museum of Aveiro/Santa Joana, the result of a partnership between Museums and Monuments of Portugal and the Municipality of Aveiro. Created within the scope of the "Aveiro Portuguese Capital of Culture 2024", it continues the circulation program of the State Contemporary Art Collection in the national territory, presenting a very representative set of works of art by national and international authors.

Curated by Sandra Vieira Jürgens, the exhibition seeks to build a route through a fictitious landscape in dialogue with the territory and in articulation with the concepts and guiding threads of the "Aveiro Portuguese Capital of Culture 2024" program: Identity; Democracy; Sustainability; Technology.
