Encontros da Imagem — International Festival of Photography and Visual Arts returns from September 18 to November 2, 2025, with a program that extends to six locations in the north of Portugal, including Braga, Avintes, Barcelos, Guimarães, Porto and Vila Verde.

Under the motto "Expression of Interest", the 35th edition marks a symbolic moment in the history of the festival, celebrating three and a half decades of contribution to photography in Portugal. More than a commemoration, this edition proposes a reflective pause on the course of the event, consolidating its legacy as a space for critical thinking, artistic experimentation and dialogue with the present.
