In August, Bombarral is celebrating two things: the Portuguese Wine Festival and the National Rocha Pear Fair.
Wine continues to be one of the main attractions of the municipality of Bombarral, which is why it is the activity that is valued and promoted by the Portuguese Wine Festival.
The dominant agricultural activity is the production of Rocha Pear, which is why the National Rocha Pear Fair was born. This event promotes the queen of Portuguese fruit growing, the "Pera Rocha", but also fresh agricultural products in general. It is currently one of the best exhibitions of handicrafts, sweets and regional gastronomy in Portugal.
