It premiered on May 11, 1981 at the New London Theatre and ran for 21 years. The success was repeated on Broadway. With music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, Cats is a true phenomenon of longevity which, even today, continues to attract the attention of the public, winning over new generations.

Based on the novel by TS Eliot, it's a musical about the lives of a group of cats, their love affairs, pranks and antics, who are confronted with the return of Grizabella, the cat who had the courage to leave her family to discover the world, but who is now being missed.
