The Vila do Conde Memory Center is hosting the exhibition "Not in the same way", by Acácio Viegas, whose career combines the technical rigor of design with the expressive freedom of the visual arts.

With a degree in Product Design and a Master's in Industrial Design, he has worked in areas such as graphic design, web design and product design. Since 2014 he has taken a more introspective approach, seeking to break with the rational limits of design. His artistic practice is based on a deep surrender to intuition, with works that explore themes such as consciousness, mystery and transcendence. He made his debut on the art scene in 2015 with the exhibition "Consciência", at the Guimarães noc noc event, and since then he has made a name for himself in the Portuguese art scene with exhibitions in painting, sculpture, installation and public art.
