Until September 14, Maia City Council is promoting the Maia Contemporary Art Biennial, which returns this year with a wide-ranging, multidisciplinary program and free admission.

After the inaugural event on July 3, the Biennale will be holding a second special event on July 19, with a variety of proposals and the crossing of artistic languages. On this day, the public will be able to take part in visits and workshops, as well as watch performances by artists Pedro Moreira, Carla Cruz and Cláudia Lopes. Isabel Carvalho's performance-concert, inspired by Isabel Meyrelles' "The Book of the Tiger", will be a highlight.

The Maia Contemporary Art Biennial continues until September 14, with exhibitions, performances, concerts, an artist's edition fair, workshops, talks, visits and workshops.
