With a program full of activities, the Festas da Batalha aim to cheer up the people of the region and all its visitors, who will have the opportunity to discover the best of the area. In August you have the perfect excuse to visit a Portuguese area steeped in history. But you'll also find plenty of entertainment, with traditional taverns, sports activities, a Kids Zone, a showcase of economic activities, a car exhibition, an electronic tent and unique concerts.

The festival also commemorates one of the most celebrated moments in Portuguese history, celebrated on August 14: the Portuguese victory at the Battle of Aljubarrota.
