Events

The Vila Pouca de Aguiar Festivities, dedicated to the Divino Salvador, usually take place on the first weekend of August, combining religiosity, culture, music and popular tradition.

This year they take place between August 1st and 5th, promising to liven up the town and the municipality with lots of music, tradition and entertainment. In addition to the concerts, other events include the Solemn Mission, the Procession of the Patron Saint and the "Arrastão da Pedra de Granito", when around 800 people pull a stone weighing around 14 tons, a symbol of local strength and unity.
