Taking place since time immemorial, the festivities in honor of Nossa Senhora do Caminho will once again take place in August and are a reason for the growing attraction of pilgrims to the municipality and in particular to the town of Mogadouro.

This year, between August 14 and 25, this is a very old pilgrimage, and the year in which the cult of the Nossa Senhora do Caminho originated, as well as the construction of its first chapel, is not precisely known.

Devotees flock to Mogadouro during these days of celebration to take part in masses and processions in honor of the saint. But there is also room for a wide-ranging cultural program, which lasts well into the night with the performance of various musical bands.
