Events

The Festivities in Honor of Nossa Senhora da Saúde, in Vimioso, are held annually during the week of August 10, coinciding with the municipal holiday and the celebrations of São Lourenço, Santa Bárbara and Nossa Senhora dos Remédios.

Highlights of the program include religious ceremonies, with solemn masses and processions in honor of São Lourenço, Santa Bárbara and Nossa Senhora dos Remédios. There will also be bullfighting, a Mirandesa breed cattle competition, a street fair and plenty of musical entertainment, with big names from the national music scene and local philharmonic bands.
