The Medieval Tower and the Tourist Office host this exhibition which aims to show the richness of local craftsmanship in the form of the Barcelos rooster, highlighting tradition and modernity. Each artisan has their own vision and expression for this icon, whether produced in clay, wood, textiles, paper, metal or many other materials.

In each piece of this exhibition - the rooster, as a certified cultural product of excellence, recovers shapes, reinvents colors, mixes paintings and reflects symbols of national identity. The rooster takes on the colors, trends and tastes of today's society and becomes a symbol that transcends its own identity.
