Events

In October, confectioners from all over the country will gather in Abrantes to promote their traditional and convent sweets at the National Traditional Sweets Fair. With delicacies from the north to the south of the country and the islands, for three days the Historic Center will be filled with music, theater, exhibitions, sports, workshops and cooking demonstrations, among other entertainment for all tastes and ages.

Traditional sweets, honey, jams and locally produced liqueurs will be some of the stars, and will be showcased alongside the great icons of national sweets. This edition will take place on the 1st of May Esplanade in Abrantes.
