Melgaço hosts another edition of the always long-awaited "Festa do Espumante" between the 28nd and 30th of November.

In a clear tribute to the much appreciated Alvarinho Sparkling Wine, this event includes commented tastings, show cooking sessions, tastings and live music, promoting not only Alvarinho Sparkling Wine, but also all the immense and delicious gastronomy of the region, which includes special products made with Alvarinho wine.

This festival, whose first edition dates back to 2015, has contributed to the affirmation of the identity of Monção and Melgaço as a wine territory of excellence, the result of unique natural and human conditions: soil, microclimate and know-how.
