Events

In this exhibition of the work of Agustina Bessa-Luís, one of the greatest figures in contemporary literature and 20th century Portuguese culture, Agustina's universe intersects with Luís Abel Ferreira as an editor, researcher and collector of her work. The exhibition of Luís Abel Ferreira's private collection was created by Luís Alves Ferreira and Margarida de Nazaré, his father and sister.

This exhibition brings to the public a wide range of documentary and bibliographic materials- works, proofs, manuscripts, personal items, news, chronicles- resulting from the research and investigation process that, together with Manuel Vieira da Cruz and with the collaboration of the writer's family, led to the reissue of several titles by Agustina Bessa-Luís, materials of which Luís Abel Ferreira was the custodian and to which he added other pieces from his personal collection.
