The contemporary dance show "Lucidez", performed by the Contemporary Dance Company of Évora and directed by Nélia Pinheiro, presents a creation inspired by the work "Ensaio sobre a Lucidez", by the famous writer José Saramago.

Based on a famous quote by José Saramago about "human nature" and its genetic code that has yet to be deciphered, the choreographer proposes a sensitive and provocative reflection on human behavior, ethics and the collective. In this show, dance becomes a metaphor for critical thinking and resistance, in a performance where gesture and emotion dialogue with words and silence.
