This exhibition is the result of a research project dedicated to the valorization of endogenous clay, obtained from local clays and used in traditional ceramics. Transdisciplinary in nature, it combines history, anthropology, exact sciences and the arts, highlighting the cultural and heritage value of this ancestral know-how. The tour features historical pieces from various periods and works created from the recovery of traditional techniques from Estremoz, developed in workshops and artistic residencies. The exhibition follows all the stages of the process, from collection and preparation to the use of the clay, offering an immersive experience in the heritage of pottery and local cultural identity.
