The Vieira do Minho Smoked Meat Fair, one of the biggest gastronomic events in Minho, returns between February 6th and 8th. This is an initiative promoted by the Vieira do Minho local authority, which is the result of the involvement of local agents, such as smoke producers, restaurants, artisans and rural tourism houses, in a joint strategy to promote what is best done in the municipality.
During the event, visitors will be able to buy a wide selection of typical delicacies, such as ham, shoulder, feet, belly, legs, meat and blood sausages, black pudding, salpicões, alheiras, orelheira, queixadas, breasts, heads and pingo. Produced in family units using traditional methods, Vieira do Minho smoked meats stand out for their authenticity and the preservation of unique flavors.
