Sketch Tour Portugal invited the Portuguese Nelson Paciência to host the Spanish sketcher Inma Serrano to explore the Centro de Portugal region. Together they were inspired by the landscapes and heritage of this region and had the opportunity to discover the little details of the cities and towns on their route.

They found out that in the heart of Portugal there are mountains, villages of granite and shale houses, there are beaches with enormous waves and fishing villages, there are centuries-old monuments that display the long history of the region. 

For five days, Inma and Nelson shared the experience of visiting Caldas da Rainha, Peniche and Óbidos, feeling the spirit of these places, and sketching some of the icons of the region, like the monasteries of Alcobaça and Batalha, and the Convent of Christ in Tomar, of such historical significance that they have been classified World Heritage.
